James H. Cone and Emilie M. Townes Inaugural Lectureship 

We’re excited to honor the legacy of these two outstanding alums and will be focused on Black Religious Thought and the Black Religious Experience. The inaugural lecture will be delivered by the inspiring Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas. With a panel response by Rev. Dr. Emilie Townes along with Rev. Dr. Angela Sims and Rev. Dr. Joanne Terrell. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for the Church and the Black Experience and the Stead Center on Ethics and Values.
